CHICAGO - The UIC men's basketball team had an up-and-down 2009-10 season. The Flames played a tough non-conference schedule facing many elite teams including in-state rivals Southern Illinois, Illinois State, DePaul and came away with a twenty point victory over Northern Illinois. The Flames also faced the Big Ten powerhouse No. 16 Wisconsin.
