If anyone knows the whereabouts of New York ’s defense please call (201) 583-7000. The Fire blew out rivals New York Sunday afternoon 5 to 1. Goals came from four different Fire members, but the Fire defense couldn’t secure a clean sheet for Jon Busch after New York ’s Jozy Altidore scored. It was a little too late for the Red Bulls though. |

The game that many Fire fans have been waiting for, has finally came. On Sunday afternoon, the Chicago Fire will take on the team that tried to take away three very important people from the Fire, but only succeeded in one. The New York Red Bulls will host the Fire at Giants Stadium in the game of the week. |

“Well, I guess friendlies, aren’t friendlies anymore”. That’s right Coach Hamlett, friendlies aren’t friendlies anymore, and they shouldn’t be. Although the Fire and Polish club Wisla Krakow tied in a scoreless game, it showed why friendly games are important to the MLS. |

On a wet and rainy Saturday night the Chicago Fire lost in a hard fought match to the defending champions Houston. The Chicago Fire have yet to beat the Dynamo at Toyota Park and with the way the Fire have been playing as of late, it looked like they would get the win tonight, but that was not the case. |

The Houston Dynamo will roll into town on Saturday after getting their first win of the year last weekend. Last season, the Dynamo beat the Fire 4 to zero at home, but they were facing a struggling Fire team at the time. This Fire team is much different then the one they faced last year, and it doesn’t look good for an already struggling Houston team. |
