champs stay perfect

3.  Naperville North     8-1

North gave all they had against a tough WW South squad. They come up

short in the triple overtime thriller.

4.  Downers Grove South     9-0

“We ain’t done yet!” said a Downers South player as they remain perfect

en route to the playoffs

5.  Joliet Catholic     8-1

Joliet Catholic Smashes Carmel by more than 30 points. ‘Nuff Said.

6.  Richards     9-0

Thomas gets his Devin Hester on returning a kick and a punt in the

Richards victory.

7.  Fremd      9-0

Fremd uses Conant as a welcome to the playoffs doormat. Watch

out for these guys!

8.  Maine South     8-1

Niles West can at least say they lost against a playoff team. Maine South rolls

into the post season feeling good.

9.  Lake Zurich     8-1

Just how they drew it up. Lake Zurich wins their 8th straight to finish

 up the regular season.

10.  Glenbrook South     8-1

New Trier gives Justin Klise and Glenbrook South all they can handle. The

Titans win the battle 24-20.

11.  Loyola      7-2

Loyola breaks out the whoopin’ stick against Gordon Tech. They have fun

and take care of business by more than 40 points.

12.  Morgan Park       8-1

Every week these guys convince me why they should be here. T

his team is no joke.

13.  Bolingbrook     7-2

That new field Bolingbrook has must be doing something. They end their

regular season on a high note dishing out the punishment to Sandburg.

14.  Prairie Ridge     9-0

How does 9-0 sound? Sounds mighty good to the boys from the Ridge.

This is the first time they can say that in school history.

15.  Geneva     9-0

Batavia came, they saw, they got beat by a better team from Geneva.

This is the best team you have never seen play.

16.  Cary-Grove     8-1

Woodstock threw an interception party and Cary-Grove was the

guest of honor.

17.  Rolling Meadows     8-1

Rolling Meadows does their thing against Hersey and finishes the

 regular season strong

18.  Driscoll     9-0

Driscoll beats up on the 5A powerhouse Montini and tell everyone in 4A..

 “Hands off our championship!”

19.  Glenbrook North     8-1

Niles North must have been betting on this game. Betting for Glenbrook

North, that is. 55-12 Glenbrook.

20.  Oak Forest     7-1

Shepard knew it before they got off the bus. Oak Forest

trounces them 35-9.
