(Hoffman Estates, IL - December 14, 200() - Chicago's newest and only undefeated pro football team, the Chicago Bliss (2-0) are hosting their Home game this Friday, December 18th at Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, IL.

 

The Lingerie Football League (or 'LFL')  has become one of POP culture and Sports' biggest stories of 2009, featuring some of America's most beautiful and athletic women playing 7-on-7 full-contact tackle football on Friday nights at major arenas and stadiums, as part of LFL, Friday Night Football. The inaugural season of the LFL features (10) teams which include the Western Conference (San Diego Seduction, Seattle Mist, Los Angeles Temptation, Denver Dream, Dallas Desire) and the Eastern Conference (Chicago Bliss, New York Majesty, Philadelphia Passion, Tampa Breeze, Miami Caliente).

 
The Chicago Bliss will host Eastern Conference rival Philadelphia Passion in a Playoff-clinching game. Only two teams from each LFL conference will advance to the Conference Playoffs in Miami, FL Super Bowl weekend, with winners of the conference playoffs advancing to the seventh annual Lingerie Bowl (LFL Championship Game).

 

Chicago Bliss fans will start the party early with a 730PM CST LFL Tailgate Village festivities and Kickoff at 9PM CST.

ASA Entertainment Kicks off 2010 Action Sports Season with
ASA Big Air BMX Triples at Northern Illinois University

LOS ANGELES (November 12, 2009) – Action Sports event producer ASA Entertainment (ASA) kicks off its 2010 season with an ASA Big Air BMX Triples (Triples) event at Northern Illinois University’s (NIU) Convocation Center in DeKalb, Illinois. On March 20th, the top men in freestyle BMX will take on the challenge of the 180-foot long course consisting of a 25-foot high drop-in ramp, two 25-foot wide jumps and a course-ending quarter-pipe, all while grabbing ‘big air’ to perform their flips, flairs, whips and spins for the event title.
 
Athletes displaying their talents with great success at previous Triples events have included: two-time 2009 Triples event champion (Minneapolis and Orange County Fair) Ryan Guettler (Queensland, Australia), 2009 Chicago Triples event champion T.J. Ellis (Moreno Valley, California), Addison, Illinois’ Koji Kraft, and freestyle BMX stars Cory Nastazio (Flushing, New York), Rob Darden (Greenville, North Carolina) and Mike Spinner (Oceanside, New York). The head-to-head, single elimination format stretches the athletic limits of the competitors and brings the fans to the edge of their seats in suspense-filled anticipation of the outcome.

CHICAGO (November 5) – The fans demanded it and so did the fighters, so on Saturday, December 12, one of 2009’s most exciting fights gets an encore, as Juan “Baby Bull” Diaz meets up with Paulie “Magic Man” Malignaggi once again, this time on neutral territory at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago, Illinois in a 12 round rematch of their August 22, 2009 battle. HBO Boxing After Dark will televise the bout along with a co-main event featuring the return of top junior welterweight contender “Vicious” Victor Ortiz in a pivotal 10 round matchup against the always dangerous contender Antonio Diaz.
 
“I enjoyed beating Malignaggi the first time and I’m more than willing to do it again,” said Diaz, who scored a hard-fought 12 round unanimous decision win over Malignaggi in their first fight on August 22.  “This time though, I’m looking for the knockout so I don’t have to hear his mouth anymore.”
