Purpose Driven Sports Event Info

Chicago, IL – ChicagoSporting.com is conducting an 8-10 part interview series with professional athletes and sports personalities. The interviews focus on positive aspects of our athlete role models; from their own charities to their own families. The interviews will be published on www.chicagosporting.com every week, preceding our event/fundraiser, Purpose Driven Sports.

The event will be:

When: Sunday, August 10th
Where: Chicago Hope Academy.
2012 W Ogden Ave.
Time: 2 pm - 6 pm

Admission is $20.00 and the fundraiser runs from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be a silent auction, including but not limited to: sports memorabilia autographed from Chicago area professional athletes and local celebrities. Professional athletes and local celebrities will speak at Chicago Hope Academy. Money raised will benefit Chicago Hope Academy and their mission.

Interviews and donations have already been provided by: Juwan Howard (NBA legend); Tai Streets (former 49er and Detroit Lion); Jerry Azumah (former Bear); Don Beebe (former Buffalo Bill and Green Bay Packer), Jason McKie (current Bears) and Garrett Wolfe (current Bear).

Celebrity Appearances by: Jason McKie, Jerry Azumah, Qasim Mitchell (former Bear and Carolina Panther) and NBC 5 personalities.
Entertainment in the form of hip hop artists and local dance groups also in full force. Mini camp games and competitions for the youth. More celebrities to appear!
